The Otago Literary Agency will be present, as every year, at the Rights Centre of the Turin International Book Fair.
The space dedicated to the buying and selling of rights, the Rights Centre, located at the Lingotto Congress Centre, will welcome literary agencies, Italian and foreign publishing houses, film and television producers, scouts, and translators for meetings aimed at the transfer of copyright. The appointment is from Wednesday, May 14 to Friday, May 16, and the Otago Literary Agency will receive clients, partners, and industry professionals at its table number A20.

Many meetings with writers and authors present at the Fair will also take place in the Lingotto Fiere pavilions, which will open to the public starting Thursday, May 15, and close the following Monday.

Here are the appointments of authors represented by Otago:

  • Thursday, May 15 at 1:30 PM, Alberto Milazzo presents his novel My Brother Who Talks to Trees (Emons) – Writers’ Grove, Oval Pavilion.
  • Friday, May 16 at 7:30 PM, the Calvino Prize presents “Authors and Editors in Dialogue,” including Michela Panichi, author of La Cecilia (nottetempo), and Maurizio Bonino and Valentina Drago, authors of Omeocrazia (AltreVoci) – Madrid Room, Congress Centre.
  • Saturday, May 17 at 3 PM, Veronica Galletta presents her novel Malotempo (minimum fax), with Antonio Galetta, Pink Room, Pavilion 1.
  • Saturday, May 17 at 3 PM, Martino Giordano presents his novel Variations on the Theme (Solferino Libri), with Maurizio Francesconi and Alessandro Martini – Corriere della Sera/Solferino/Cairo/Fuoriscena Space, Oval Pavilion.
  • Sunday, May 18 at 1 PM, Michela Panichi (author of La Cecilia, nottetempo) and Riccardo Meozzi present their respective novels, with Tiziana Tirana – Ivory Room, Visitor Gallery.
  • Sunday, May 18 at 2 PM, Alessio Arena presents his novel The Sex of Trees (Fandango Libri), with Antonio Pascale – Indigo Room, Oval Pavilion.
  • Sunday, May 18 at 6 PM, “Music and Word: The Sex of Trees,” a musical dialogue between novel and song, with Alessio Arena – Camper Ticket to Read, Oval Square.
