Description
On the shores of Lake Trasimeno, there is a caravan. It is unknown who it belongs to, how it got there, or why it ended up there, but it is open to anyone who needs a space all to themselves, away from the burdens of everyday life. Nicola, Ofelia, Simone, and the enigmatic T. deposit their pains and secrets there. Nicola is crushed by the regret of a past love that has deeply marked him, Ofelia tries to free herself from the ghost of an overbearing mother, and Simone is entangled in a toxic relationship that he feels he deserves. No one knows who T. is, but he has a habit of leaving behind disturbing messages that seem to refer to a terrible event. One day, however, everything changes: someone has requested the removal of the caravan, and the only way to prevent it is to find the owner. Through a polyphonic narrative marked by short and incisive chapters, Caterina Villa constructs an intense novel that combines realism and lyricism in a story of still-open wounds and possible rebirths.
