While waiting for the publication by Borgerhoff & Lamberigts in Dutch this summer, the novel by Alessio Arena Ninna nanna delle mosche (released in his home country by Fandango Libri and winner of the Premio Procida-Isola di Arturo-Elsa Morante) titled Vliegenlied, the translation rights for three novels from the Otago roster have been recently acquired.

A double hit from Brazil, where the publishing house Rua do Sabão has acquired the Portuguese translation rights for two novels: Il buon uso della distanza by Vito di Battista (Italian edition by Gallucci publisher, winner of the Premio Iannas) and Nina sull’argine by Veronica Galletta (released by minimum fax, finalist for the Premio Strega and winner of the Premio Letteratura d’Impresa).

From Greece, on the other hand, the publishing house Vakxikon has contracted Neve, cane, piede by Claudio Morandini (Bompiani), which is now set for translation in nine countries.
